We have the Flood (they want to kill everyone)
We have the …6? races of the covenant/banished.
We have the Sentinels/monitors that can’t make up their mind.
We have the Prometheans.
Now we have the Endless
If my count is correct, that brings us a total of 10 enemy races that humans face. I would like to see an alien race that doesn’t want to stomp on humans, at least once.
I don’t really understand the motivations of the banished but the harbinger wanted us to join her, maybe humans are just jerks. I mean, the elites don’t wanna kill us now, the grunts probably don’t care either unless they’re indoctrinated into the covinent or banished

The Banished have humans in their forces, so there is no reason why they would want to kill all humans other than to shoot themselves in the foot. And no, revenge is no justification when Atriox clearly considers it to be a useless emotion and therefore hired Elites who had wiped out many of Brute-kind.

the endless seems to be an anti-forerunner faction. If humanity gets into the way they will definitely be an enemy.
343’s bad writing that’s why. Elites started an alliance during the war so hostilities should be very minor after they were enlightened with the knowledge that we were killing each other for nothing.
Banished have no right or reason to even be in this game lol they go from having almost no ships or manpower left after being completely routed and humiliated by a single outdated UNSC ship, its just them being roped into the game cause they can’t be original.
Anything Forerunner hates us because we keep capturing their stuff while destroying some of it in the process.
What even are the endless? There’s no explanation for them at all and they make zero appearances anywhere else despite being the second oldest race of aliens in the lore. And why do they hate us? We didn’t imprison them. Is 343 now backtracking on their “Humans aren’t related to Forerunners” spiel they set up with 4? Too many questions and no answers.
