I think what added to the Halo 2 experience was the built in clan system. Not only were you part of the Halo 2 community, but part of a smaller clan community.
I loved being part of a clan and going into matchmaking playlists designed specifically for clans, the fact that it was built into the game was incredible. I think bringing it back into Halo 4 would really stimulate the community as barley any triple A titles are currently doing it.

Clan support would be greatly appreciated. You could if any of your clan members are on at any time like in Halo Reach you could see if your friends are on in the side bar.
Clan Support must be in Halo 4.
Yes this should be brought back it was so great in halo 2.
this feature should be more for xbox live then it should for game specific because halo isn’t the only game to have clans and this feature would work great for the who xbox live community as a whole.

I agree. I loved the built in clan system.
I’ve always felt that the clan system is redundant if you have a friends list, but if the people enjoy redundancy, I say give it to 'em.

Because it is impossible to have more people in your clan than your friends list allows right?
I have always loved the Halo 2 clan system it was very unique. It would be a really, really good addition to Halo 4.
No, I haven’t forgotten. The return of a Clan System is probably one of the only things that we can all agree on.
I would like to see some sort of Clan system return. That would be nice and convenient for the many people who enjoy being in clans. I don’t see why not.
It was a real shame. During the first few days of Xbox Live, they were considering making a Clan Creation Option. I can’t find a link but they scrapped the idea because they perhaps thought it would require too much effort to function properly and they probably also thought it would be redundant because you could access your Friends List easily.
I absolutely loved the Clans feature during Halo 2. You could also assign proper ranking systems for each member without any personal conflications as such. Finally you had Clan Matchmaking Playlists. Those were godly.
I’m glad that it seems most want to see this great future back.

yea i posted a topic about this a while back ago and i completely agree have a clan menu that can be linked to mlg gamebattles… make it so you can set up matches for game battles through the clan menu in the game… so that way you don’t have to sign in on ur computer… it would make it easier and you can set up a game battles all in one place om your xbox makes since to me
