The title is a bit misleading because I’m not talking about extraction I’m talking about the “team shotguns” playlist. Everytime I search in team snipers the majority of the time I get stuck playing shotty snipers and everybody uses the shotgun. Now people may say just use a shotgun yourself, no I won’t use a shotgun simply because I am in the snipers playlist and thats what I want to use and people will say its easy to kill them with a sniper coz they cant shoot long range but since most of the maps are close quarters they camp in corners, crouch walk around the map and it is really ruining the snipers playlist. So for those of you who want the playlist without shotty snipers stand up and shout it out to 343 because this once awesome playlist is being ruined.
Shotguns in a sniper playlist makes perfect sense. They just need to add a laugh track whenever someone dies from a shotgun.
I love shotty snipers. I also enjoy regular team snipers.
If you aren’t using the tools at your disposal to kill said campers then it’s not on anyone else but you. You’ll find that it’s easier to kill campers with a shotgun.
It was in some of the other halos. But when I do play Shotty Snipers I barely even use the shotgun because this gametype is about snipers not shotguns.

Nothing wrong with Shotty/Snipers IMO.
I was glad to see shotty snipers return, but it should only be played on big maps like Exile, forcing you to at least sometimes use the sniper
It has been around since Halo 2 and is fun to play and works well. Why would they remove it?
It depends on the size of the map. If it’s big than you will probably find yourself using the sniper rifle most of the time. If it’s more of a CQC kind of map than you will probably be using the shotgun. So people who hate shotty snipers only hate it when they are playing on a small map. I think it’s fine though.
