He sounds pretty black to me, and the original concept art for him was a black guy too.

he is voiced by someone black and there is an easter egg where you see the noble teams faces including emiles and does look black.

No… Emile is actually white.
Nah… I’m just playing. I believe Emile is black, just listen to his voice. If that isn’t a dead giveaway, I don’t know what is.

I believe Emile is black. Early concept art of him displayed him as black, he sounded black (not stereotyping/being racist), and his voice actor is of Haitian descent. So, I’d expect that he’s black.

The easter egg lab in a late campaign level (the one that became Firefight’s Glacier) shows each NOBLE team members’ face. Emile’s is barely visible, but clearly darker than the others. He’s black.
Side note: This reminds me of an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode…
The pictures Bungie showed without his helmet are clear enough to show he’s black.
