In five matches, I’ve played almost exclusively Riptide. This would be okay if riptide wasn’t a terrible map and possibly made by terrible people, but, you know…
Anyway, is dashboarding at the loading screen against the rules so I never, ever have to play it again?
No, but it’s much of a -Yoink- move as Warzone Farming. Not that it matters, in the end: you’ll still be just as likely to be banned as you would if you just hit “Quit.”
I could have sworn that we had a thread that was essentially this same subject. And that we had determined that dashboarding before the match starts would not give a ban.

That thread asked if it was detected though, not necessarily if it was against the rules. I’ll follow the letter of the law if I know what it is.

You dont get banned for dashboarding… been there, done that. Just dashboard when you see the map pop up and done, and its not a -Yoink- move and it cant be compared to warzone farming.
Whereas I totally agree with you “n abled bruh” I got a week forum ban for saying the same time thing. So I’d ammend it if you don’t wanna get banned.
I’d commend you if you left it up though

Agreed but you realize quiting in lobby before the match starts doesn’t truly affect anyone. Cause it will still look for someone else to fill the empty spot. I’ve had to dashboard when it would randomly kick my friends out. I’ve never dashed because of the maps even if some of them are trash

Quitting before the timer will just make the game find someone else, plus, no DNF or ban. It’s good because then I don’t have to play Overgrowth, Riptide, or Torque anymore.

> No ban, but why? If new maps continue at this rate of mediocrity you’ll be dashboarding half your games. Just grit your teeth and push through it.
While “grit my teeth and push” is an appropriate way to deal with crap, I’d rather spend 30 seconds starting the game than 10 minutes not having fun.
