Regarding Locke, I personally think he is just going to try and bring back Chief but similar to what other fans have said, he might be persuaded to try and help Chief on his quest instead, possibly becoming a “Guardian” like Chief will be. ONI wouldn’t kill Chief because of his genetic evolution he gained from the Librarian. He is the future of humanity for generations to come.

Really, I don’t think she should come back. She had closure in her death, and if she doesn’t stay dead, then it kind of removes the point of the remaining story, which is developing Chief.
She never died. It’s kinda obvious that the Librarian took her somewhere and left fragments of her with Chief. which explains how the Librarian knew the identity of Halsey on Spartan Ops. We never got to know the Librarian’s plan, she is a part of her plan.

I agree that Cortana must remain dead for the sake of the story and the development of the Chief, but in some way I feel bad for her and the Chief. It’s always sad to lose someone you “love”
