I have been chatting with my friend lately and have been discussing about this topic. He seems to be very convinced that 10 is for pro’s and 3 for noob’s and since
i can’t discuss with him about it i might as well ask what you think and potentially discuss with you.
how old this this friend?
people who say these things are usually no older than a CoD kid (7-8 yrs old)
That is some BS right there. Sensitivity does not reflect on your skill. Of course, it is traditional for pros to have higher sensitivity, but your sensitivity reflects on how comfortable you want it to be. Too high and you might miss every shot.

He’s 20.
It provides the advantage of a faster response to threats that are behind you, but is initially harder to control. So… maybe? It’s really a matter of personal preference IMO, but there is an advantage to using it.
It’s still slower than “5” in most other first person shooters so for me personally it’s too slow.
EDIT: Nice job changing the question BTW, glad I didn’t vote.

interesting…
that’s all i can say
Not in Halo 4, because of the absurd aim assist.
This isn’t true.
Pros mostly use from 3-5.

now that you bring up weed i can say he just needs help in all regards
Not true at all.
Most pros use 4 sensitivity

what other kinds of things does he say is noobish?
using melee?
Driving Warthogs?
using Automatic weapons?
this guy sounds like a 7-year-old trapped in the body of a young adult
> smoke’s weed
not something that would help his authority over what is considered “noobish” out IMO
does he say that living longer is for noobs?

The sensitivity is based on comfort. But him saying using 10 makes players pro? He has the wrong idea. Most pro players don’t even use 10, they use what ever makes it comfortable to them.
10 is so fast, I don’t think people could even hit a head with that.
I don’t recommend using it at 10 unless you have kontrol freak thumbstick extenders . And even in that case it’s only good for turning around quickly when someone is behind you, and for sniping faster. If you’re not used to it it will mess up your DMR game if it’s too loose and the sensitivity is high. Take it for me I’m a 2.73 kd player that uses his sensitivity at four or five (I only play slayer) .
Having the extended thumbstick helps you feather the head shots on my sensitivity , any higher and you will ultimately lose control. If you are a run and gunner then it’s good. But if you are a camper it’s not.

Using any other primary weapons than a Assault rifle.
Using weapon skins (Because he believe’s i get a damage buff)
Thinking about it he still live’s by his parent’s and doesn’t have a job, but i will stop here or else it will become a rant of my friend.
the in game menu actually says low speed it for beginner who cant aim and high is for advance players
Higher sensitivity just helps you turn and aim quicker. It’s a high-performance system compared to low sensitivity because it requires a little more control to aim properly, but allows you to hit faster-moving targets easier when you possess the skill to use it.
It’s not necessarily “noob” or “pro” to be at any one given setting, but S.10 is generally the best setting for more experienced players who have developed control. I’d dare say someone at Sensitivity 1 competing with people who are at 10 and used to it would be pretty -Yoink- pro though, since it would be literally handicapping their main combat skill to do it.
I use 10, but I wouldn’t necessarily consider myself a pro.
I just can’t do with anything slower. I almost wish there was a higher sensitivity level, actually.
