Is colony any good anymore

i seem to be struggling coming back to the game and trying to play as colony what were the changes to him and is he worth it anymore

On a serious note, Colony is okay.

Goliaths, Brand, and Combat Repair are his best features, though, he does have other solid LP’s.

There’s nothing that makes Colony great, but there’s also nothing that makes him bad. Lack of TP sucks, but it’s not enough to make him a bad pick.

Exlcuding a certain issue, he’s not a bad pick. Mid-tier leader, in my opinion.

Besides the gamebreaking side of him which won’t be mentioned (by me at least), he’s not too great. Most people Goliath rush, which can be threatening. Yet it only works if the Goliaths get to your base. If they’re caught, they lose to pretty much anything. Another option is skitterer/chopper, which is a stretch since skitterers are (for some inexplicable reason) more power expensive than choppers. His early game options are quite limited. Hunter Captain is overrated and slow as death. Not worth the early game power. It’s best to just fast tech. Even then, his mid-game potential is mediocre. Engie support and colony drop is good, but by the time you get them, only a noob would have an undefended base. It’s better to get Hunter’s Brand and upgrade it, as it’s still as ridiculous as it was in April. His late game is where he’s best due to combat repair, but even then he’s outclassed by late game leaders and even Deci with his passives and drop.

Overall, I don’t see any reason to play him.

Not at all a troll post I use to main colony and I don’t know any changes that may have happened to him as I took a long break from the game

I see so he has been pretty much outclassed

Colony is better in team fights then in 1 v 1. But that’s just from my experience.
