The Pit remake is nicely done. Everything is there, though they did add a hole in the sword room to drop down to the Overshield hallway in the Infinity Settings(though the Overshield doesn’t spawn in this remake).
Vertigo is a very nice 4v4 map with plenty of places for Close, medium and Long range maps. The power buttons you can shoot at can definetly make for some interesting gameplay, especially when you want to crash the enemy team’s fun if they are camping up there.
Armor is spot on, and the weapon and armor skins all look fantastic. Unfortunately, they do not work in Spartan Ops at all.
I haven’t have a chance to play Richochet, but I imagine its very similar to Grifball. You do not need to buy the map pack or bundle if you wish to play it as it comes out a little over a week from now.
If you only like parts of it, you can do that. You can get the Map pack, the ODST/Mark V/Prefect armor pack, and Weapon skin pack individually. However, you do not get to play Richochet, miss out on a few exclusive skins for some armor sets and weapons and the Richochet armor.
If you are a fan of The Pit, a new 4v4 asymmetrical map, Halo CE Anniversary Mark V armor, ODSTs, looking like an American Football player and new paint jobs for your loadout weapons and armor for Matchmaking, this is worth the 800 points. If you like parts of it, you can get them too. I went with this and was satisfied.
If you are not satisfied with any of it, then you’re SOL, and you can deal with your stress and anger by shooting some unfortunate Zombies that happen to be trying to make their way to the bank and wanted some directions, and wanted to have their savings to hopefully buy new teeth.
I hope it helps.
