Basically i need to make sure if it’s a good thing or a really good thing? or if it makes me an average player, so then i may have bragging rights when the chance does arise. if not then i must try harder.
I got platinum and was pretty disappointed in myself. It was mainly because they were my first 10 matches on maps that were new to me. I’m aiming for diamond next time around.
so im guessing it’s a bad thing?
I have diamond 1 in swat but i have been trying to get a list of the csr divisions. so i know where i stand myself.

Platinum and diamond are the last two divisions before Onyx and Champion.
Plat IMO is average, Diamond is good. Can always get better though (:

Never been a Halo player before Halo 5. Played some MP for the first time against random people in breakout and earned the rank of diamond 1, was kinda surprised

Idk im pretty sure its random. I went 7/10 wins top player almost each game. Even got a Killotrocity with a 17.7 KDA one game and I was put in Gold.
I don’t really see many people lower than plat so I guess I would consider plat average.

Haha yeah, like my cousin did worse then me yet for some reason he was placed in Onyx. So I’m guessing its not accurate right now, but I believe it’ll be better after the 1st month reset.
I have Platinum in the two playlists I´ve played so far. I guess it´s pretty average, because I lost 50% of these matches.
Ranking kind of sucks. I just bought the game yesterday and played Swat with some friends. They were consistently not doing well (ie. 5-15). Meanwhile I was almost always doubling my other 3 teammates kills combined. The one who did generally awful was placed in Diamond 1 and the one who did less awful but still pretty bad was placed in Onyx 3. I was placed in Gold 1 even though I carried the majority of games. Not sure I understand this ranking system and pretty disappointed that I wasn’t placed higher.

I’m platinum and of the ranks are all right and everything I feel like that’s about right for me, I’m a middling player that’s capable of having really good games but I don’t always. Hopefully it’ll all improve when I get my team together.
