I’ve been playing quite a bit of Arena and a few games of Warzone, and I’ve only seen 2 or 3 people rocking the full set of their newly unlocked Champion armor, and only about 4 or 5 people using only the helmet or armor piece. Even before the HCS pack from this year, I’ve only ever seen the Champion set under pretty rare circumstances. Have you seen a lot of others wearing the Champion set, or is it still a rare sight to see?
It’s rare to see, not rare to have, lots of people who put time into this game will likely have the Achilles armor and helmet and will be wearing those instead of the Champion set.
No, Challenger is a very Rare set
As people have mentioned it seems rare to see in game as opposed to actually being rare to have. Given that paying for it was an option it isn’t necesarrily that impressive to see unfortunately.
Athlon Champion is rare, but not as rare as Challenger. Besides paying actual $$$ on the HCS packs, you can get Athlon Champion in the REQ store whenever the yearly HCS finals are going on.
I don’t see it very often, but most people have it. It’s been available several times. It’s not nearly as rare as it used to be.

You can get it out of Team packs and that is it. However, the Challenger is more rare than the Champion.
