I wonder if there’s a single person here that likes JIP. God it’s frustrating.
heck NO, everytime you join it’s just a lost cause they are winning by alot and your team has given up, 343i should remove it.
It’s so -Yoinking!- stupid. I don’t understand why they can’t just add ranked and social playlists separate. Bunch of morons… yeah, I love joining a game when I’m down and get a loss on my record. Screw off.
Am I one of the rare few that has not experienced this problem at all? So far every-time I join a game that is more then half way thru I at-least help out my team to complete the objectives or just mess around until the next round to get my revenge.
So far I am enjoying the JIP, I know there are times when you join a game and your undoubtedly going to loose but hey if you know you can do better the next round then screw it, no point in getting frustrated at a simple game.
However it would of been great to add an option so that someone can decide to choose if they want to be able to join a game in progress.
ex…“JIP:[ENABLED]/Disabled”
That would of made alot of people happy, either way im off to play some H4 hope you enjoy the game.
I think it’s hilarious how everybody whined about there never being JIP in Halo, and how everybody wanted it so badly, and now that 343i put it into the game, everyone is hating on it and says it’s the worst thing ever.
The same exact thing happens in Call of Duty, but you all eat that game up like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Explain to me why it’s any different in Halo?
JIP is a good thing, prevents sustained 3v4, 2v4, etc. If you care that much about a loss you need to take a chill pill, it is a game.
I like it. Keeps my team full and I don’t mind helping to finish a game.
People just whine about losing games. JIP was a good thing when ppl were losing by their teams quitting. JIP is now bad cause ppl join games that they’re likely to lose. Its the double standard.
Just finish the game and start a new one or quit and re-queue. JIP is good for the community.

Probably because it’s not implemented correctly. I’ve already joined in several games where it was a lost cause so there wasn’t even a point in trying to win.
I have encountered no problems in regards to JIP I wanted it and I’m glad when I start a game if someone drops I’m not stuck with a realllllly lopsided game,
It’s terrible. I like starting a game fresh. Joining in the middle is frustrating and disorienting and I usually just end up quitting anyway.
JIP annoys me, but not enough for me to get too wound up. Lets face it, you’re not going to win every game anyway. And you just know that you’ll make up for your losses (K/D, etc.) in the following games so it’s not that big a deal.
It doesn’t bother me. But then again I’ve only been dealing with it a day, and haven’t noticed any negative impact yet. Give it a month and I’ll make a final decision.
yes. If someone leaves your game JIP makes it so much better since someone can join in and make it even again! Stop complaining

Wait, people actually wanted/want join-in-progress in Halo? lol
It’s so stupid. I hate joining a team that is doing awful and getting a loss that I didn’t even deserve.

What the hell are you talking about? Who are these people you’re referring to?
As far as I know no one EVER wanted join in progress. The only playlist I can see it being suitable for is BTB, everything else it just sucks.
JIP is trash. It would be fine for just customs, and maybe socials if they add ranked playlists.
The major problem with JIP is…
If you’re in a party and end up with a JIP it will split your parties members to join both teams.
There are some other problems, like people can just come and go as they please, and joining in the middle of a match when the team you just joined is getting blown out, but the real issue is if you party up and end up with a JIP and your party is on both teams.
