I was curious if anyone is having issues filling up there company due to the fact that people only want to join large companies. My guess was that small companies are having issues because everyone wants achilles. Is this true or is it only my group?
bloo plague
There are a lot of companies, and only a few can actually rise to the top as far as size goes. A few obviously have more time put into them, and have better leaders and organizational structures. That means that they gain members every day rain or shine. All of this combined means that some have extremely large size, and others can be counted on one hand.
So… it’s my fault that I can’t get a larger group in. Lol
I’ve been stuck at ten for a while now.
I looked at the description for your Spartan Company.
I would proof read it to make sure there’s no grammar errors or spelling mistakes as there’s a few which might turn people away as it comes across quite amateurish.
You can’t have contradictory statements such as looking for people that care about playing and then immediately have another sentence saying that you don’t actually care if they themselves care. I think I understand what you’re trying to say in that you don’t mind if people take the game seriously or casually but you can word that so much better.
“We’re looking for members that have a strong passion in playing Halo competitively but we also cater to the more casual gamer…” Something like that sounds a lot better.
Increasing your member count is not easy and it takes a lot of work but you need to provide an incentive for people to join. Start by listing events, have a dedicated timeslot during the week where you host lobbies to get members together as well as trying to recruit newer members. “At 5pm EST we host a custom lobby for 2 hours were our members get together to play the latest forge maps and gametypes, if you had a map you’ll like to get playtested we’re here to help”.
Hmm. That’s a good point. I worded it that way cause I’ll play with either type of players.
if you want you all can join us , we have room for more members and are way more then a spartan company
if you join as a leader of a spartan company and bring your members you will be granted a squad for your members and you wood be a squad lead , i can mention we are quite close to getting the Achilles armor now .
if this sounds interesting to you you can send me a pm , og just fill out a application on the page.
Why you should join Epsilon Fleet:
- Members: We have some of the finest and most mature members in the Halo community in our clan. And we are a CLAN, not just a Spartan Company.
- Organization: The Fleet is split up into 3 branches: ONI, NavSecWar, and the Marines. ONI handles logistics and the website. They make videos for the clan as well. NavSpecWar is where many of the specialized jobs are, like forgers, the Spartans, etc. The Marines are the main infantry force. No matter what, there’s a place just for you.
- Website: Our website allows us to keep track of and care for every single member. It also allows us to let everyone have a voice in the clan, and choose the role they play. For example, before a clan battle there is a thread made specifically for signing up. If you don’t want to participate in it, you don’t sign up. We have enough raids and clan battles so that pretty much everyone gets their fill.
- Ranks: Here in the Fleet, we have a unique ranking structure where everyone is rewarded for doing a good job, and aren’t rewarded for running your competition out of the clan. Everyone is given points for doing certain things, like attending a training or being in a clan battle. To be in a position of power you have to actively contribute.
- Experience: Most of the new members who join us have previous clan experience, which really helps things run smoothly but if you haven’t been in a group like us before, we’ll still make you feel right at home. All of our leaders have at least a month or two of experience in our clan, and the highest have been running Halo clans for years.
- Squads: Using small 4, 6,8 or 12 man teams helps members to really get to know each other, and insures that ,again, every person has a voice in clan affairs and is taken care of. We have European squads and North American squads to help people coordinate time zones. Squads significantly help with coordination and number of victories.
- Casual meets Competetive: Are you casual? Are you competitive? Don’t answer that, it was a rhetorical question. In EF, you can join a squad that fits your timezone, schedule, and how competitive you want to be. We have an even mix of casual and competitive, and our Spartans are (hopefully) going to go pro soon.
Finally, look at our competition. Look at the other clans in the recruiting section of the forums. Are they specific? Do they say anything other than “we win, join us?” Almost every one is formulaic, and posted by their clan leader just because they want more members. This is more than that. Personally, I’ve been in a vast array of different clans, on different games and such, and not one has equaled Epsilon Fleet.

Dang you guys go hard lol. Im just looking for casual gamers. Maybe those who dont want a commitment but if they see me online theyll hit me up. Kudos on your group. I jave a feeling you guys arent having trouble finding people.
I’m having the same problem recruiting for Darth Saiyans. We are casual gamers. All adults. No goofy rules or restrictions. Just want to play online with groups of people. We want Achilles, but we know it’ll be a while before we get it. We’re okay with that.
That armour is pretty sweet. Hey, even if people dont want to join my group, im still open to playing with anyone.
hey guys the best way id say is in game after every game ask the people who are not in a Spartan company go to the players don’t wait for them to come to u that’s why my company is around 65 people right now
I need some help any ideas on how to get people to join my spartan company

No, we aren’t. I’m a part of that clan too. We hit almost all recruiting threads less than 12 hours after they’re made.
Our Spartan Company is looking for members, we play casual and don’t take it too seriously. At 4 members we’ve made a good dent in the level 1 commendations but we are looking out for more, as it’d be nice to eventually get Achilles. I think size may put some people off and the fact that we’re not too serious about it, at the end of the day we play the game for fun and the armour is a bonus. We’re called “Recycled Data” and would love to have some new members, to gradually chip away at the commendations. Currently I am tasked with recruiting new members since I don’t start my next proper job for two weeks.

that and make a great bio for people to see on your company page
I thought about doing that. Im useually in a party though.
It is true because when you go to the companys, the bigger ones show and the deeper you go the smaller they get

Having the grammar of a baboon raised in the sewer doesn’t really help you get recruits. Spend a little time on your description, maybe get some friends to join, and you can get your Spartan Company moving along. Quite frankly, if you can’t take the time to write a decent clan description, why do you have the time to treat your members right?

well the company is active i mean like putting request or come join this company type of thing
You are proving my point. Most Spartan Companies don’t care about treating their members right, so why would new people join? Quite frankly you are too lazy to type a readable message. If you want to improve your SC, try to get a better name, a better description, start off with some decent members, and get recruits. Also, its best if you know the name of the game that you are playing. This is Halo, not “the halos.” If your clan has been this unsuccessful since 360, why bother?
