I mean, there’s bean a lot of arguing and disagreeing about this game! Is there more people disagreeing about the game than getting exited about it!

I think quite a few people exited after Halo 4’s multiplayer. That being said, I’m getting rather excited for Halo 5, the campaign looks like it will be quite a ride.

I think it’s just a very vocal minority of people who are upset. Every poll taken on this site I’ve seen ends up with way more people looking forward to the game than those who aren’t. It’s just that the folks that have a problem with H5 feel VERY strongly so it really shows.
I am, mainly because of campaign and the glorious, long-awaited introduction of Blue Team.
But I’m a PC gamer and I have no Xbox One… so it will have to wait until Christmas at the very least.
Well I am excited but apprehensive at the same time. Remember all the hype before Halo 4? And while I was one of the few who enjoyed the game and played it a long time I am not afraid to admit it really didn’t live up to the hype. The absolute worse “ranking” system ever, the gummy bear like grunts, we only got one season of Spartan ops when it was supposed to be some great multi season thing. Then of course the most abysmal launch of almost any game ever with MCC which still has issues today. Which we won’t even get into because it’s all been said before. I liked the H5 beta, I have liked the trailers and opening cinematic. My only worry is that Halo is going team based, even on campaign. But I would still say I am excited.
I’m as hyped as you can be!!! The competitive aspects of the game will keep it alive and prosperous for years to come. #WeBack!!!
I’m definitely hyped, trying to finish all the books before it’s release, just finished the Forerunner saga and now plowing through Glasslands.
Although I’m still apprehensive because of what happened with Halo 4 and MCC, hopefully they’ve learned from their mistakes…

I am very excited for Halo 5: Guardians. Everything 343 is doing with it is just awesome.
People who complain will post more than hyped players but they are still the minority. People are very excited.
Excited, but also worried. I’m excited because I love Halo, but I’m worried because I don’t like 343, and they’ve made a lot of mistakes already.
I’m sure they’ve learnt a lot, and only time will tell if my worries are founded. However, after the last two titles they have given us, I can all too easily envisage a similar fate for Halo 5.
But yes, ultimately I am very excited.
Im so excited. I literally can not hide it. In all honesty i may end up losing control, but i think that i will like it.
It looks good but even though im on the defender side of the argument I’m not excited or hyped. I stopped getting hyped or excited for games a long time ago. The current gen consoles already had games that were overyhyped only to turn out to be a disappointment. Some launches had been disastrous bungie had their disaster with destiny 343 had theirs with mcc which I expected because they tried to link all multiplayers which was greatly stupid and ambitious: they aren’t the only ones who had disasters. I think its better to expect to be disappointed instead of getting hyped and excited.
There will always be arguing and complaining, but there will also always be an insane amount of hype. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a Halo game ever!
