Is anyone else..

Good with the BR too
Or do people just lose gunfights and blame it on the DMR being “OP”

BR? why use that when I can use a DMR and own no matter what the range.

Define “good” with the BR. Utilizing it’s good amount of aim assist?

I like it, not as much as I like the DMR because I prefer semi auto but it definitely has it’s upsides. If you habitually aim for the domepiece the BR is a nice weapon.

im good with the br. almost have it mastered. but the dmr is a little op.

I’m just saying… I’m tired of seeing “DMR OP”
Like its good as hell. But I still lose at close range at times… So it’s fine IMO.

100 percent agreed.

i agree to a point but i wish that it was equal to the br so that it would be more of a matter of choice and that the dmr would be equal but have the advantage at long range. but idk. i guess cuz its just slightly more powerful than the br bothers me some.

I beg to differ…: you can but extremely bad with a weapon in this game…

Depends sometimes when I use the BR and beat DMR, sometimes I don’t haha.
I think it depends on your situation for me its; BR close range-DMR long range.

Use firepower and have both equipped and test them out it’s what I did.

PS: DMR should take 1 or 2 more shots to kill, thank you.

Imo, the DMR is better for 1v1 encounters, but the BR is more useful for any full-team clusterYoink! that you might find yourself in, because of its opportunity to make a headshot 3 times per trigger pull. It’s way better to use in team situations, because you can take down someone’s shields if they’re currently low, and headshot in the same trigger pull

I agree

Does anyone happen to have a video comparison or preferably a chart to compare the amount of shots required to kill, the amount of bloom or accuracy, the fire rate or even a calculation of the damage times fire rate minus the reload speed times the ammount of ammo or something like that? I saw an old chart with similar info, it even explained that certain weapons had more pull with the aim assist than others, and that only one of the semi auto/burst fire weapons had bloom. I still dont understand the use of the word bloom, its just the recoil that every game ive played pretty much has, i still have yet to understand the difference and reason behind this word even after playing halo reach for god knows how many weeks if not months.

I know the light rifle can kill someone in 4 shots i believe it is while the dmr takes 5? Or is it 5 for both of them? I cant remember off the top of my head, just been browsing the web and watching old videos and stuff for a while now. Gotta get back to playing halo 4 XD
