I know it’s all a part of their marketing tactics and I understand why 343 doesn’t want to show off any unfinished H4 footage yet but it’s all ready May and we still know so little about the game. I’m aware that I sound like a bratty-annoying-whinny little kid but I’m over the wait. I’d be stoked just to see some actual gameplay footage even if it’s still a work in progress. I don’t care if certain components look differently in the final game, I JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT HALO 4 LOOKS LIKE ALREADY!
So far there’s only a few screen shots, the article in Game Informer’s magazine including the stuff on their website, only 10 seconds of legit multiplayer gameplay (with sound effects) from Conan’s show, and the footage in that short March reveal video. And there is absolutely no footage of “Spartan Ops” except for concept art of the Infinity that they’ve been teasing since Halo-Fest! I want to hear what the guns sound like, I want to see what some of the other maps and armor look like, and above all I want to see some in-game Halo 4 gameplay! I’ve completely digested the info announced in April cause I’m just that fat. So please 343, show us what the game looks like even in it’s unfinished state! I understand the purpose is to prevent people from -Yoinking!- once the game comes out about how certain stuff looked cooler in production (like the H2 Campaign demo) but I must see this game! “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills” waiting for more information, screenshots, and gameplay footage. How do you guys really only have two maps ready for public viewing yet it’s already May? Don’t you only have until early October to send Microsoft the certification disk?
Anyway I’ll shut my whinny/annoying–Yoink- up now cause I’ve made my point. PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME WAIT UNTILL E3! I CAN’T DO IT 343! I KNOW IT’S LESS THEN A MONTH AWAY BUT I’M NOT MENTALLY CAPABLE GOING THAT MUCH LONGER WITHOUT MORE H4 FOOTAGE!!! Pretty please… Thank you!
PS: Is equipment coming back from Halo 3 or are you guys not talking about that yet? Cause I would love to be able to sprint then jet-pack high up and throw a flare into the middle of a battle field from above just to piss everyone off
I love it for campaign purposes, the less I know the better. But to contrast that, to go this long with so little multiplayer information is complete trash.
They’ll start dropping information like bombs in a few weeks, E3, Halo Fest. But info need’s to start coming soon, little hint’s and big reveals will little to no info about them.
Nah, man. 343i told us that it “Feels like Halo™”, and we should trust them 100%.
If that’s not enough for you, well… I don’t know what to say, OP. Maybe after you’ve given 343i your $60 you’ll feel better about the game. Or maybe you won’t. Whatever, all you got to do is BELI343!!!
Nope, the more info we get the lower the hype, not just a personal thing (although true) but also in the community. Humans love the “unknown” while the “well known” gets boring, not to mention the more info, the more new and questionable decisions we here about, and the more anger and confusion.
Less is more, same goes for games, hence Halo 4 is worth about 30$, less is more
Patience. Grand Theft Auto V’s debut trailer was six months ago, and there hasn’t been any information on that game since. At least Halo 4 gets slight hints every Wednesday.
I am not really sick of it. I do wish that more information was available like everybody else does. However, I also like the element of surprise that remains. I am excited to see what is around the bend. If the curtain was pulled back all at once that wouldn’t be any fun, imo.
