Having Cortana back on board?
Without sounding like a total creep, I really missed having her around in the last few games. Even in Halo 3 she wasn’t really around too much, and most of her lines were weird metaphors etc. To me she was always a pretty integral part of the game, and I’m really happy she’s going to be back, even if she will be kind of losing her marbles.

I like that she’s going crazier, it’ll make what I’m doing that much more fun to have an insane presence to quip the obvious.

oh, he means having cortana be more involved in the story? sure, why not.
I want her gone, she should be replaced by a non rampant AI, it makes no sense to keep her around.

Thats probably why i don’t miss her too much. Halo 3 is when i first came on to the halo scene, so i guess i don’t really have the connection as some of the older fans do with her.
Then there’s rampancy, oh brother. lols!

However, the design is a little disappointing. Not her look in general, but she looks too much like a blue human (smurf??).
343i should just make her a little bit more transparent.
I like having her gone. I just don’t like her. Annoying, chatty, and always pointing out the obvious. Though during the cutscenes, she actually plays her role really well. Don’t care to much for her “roundness”.

I somehow feel lonely when she isn’t around. Especially in Cortana in Halo 3 (I mean the mission). It seemed like I was alone in hell searching for her.

This is how I felt as well.

I wonder if 343i made her look human in Halo 4 on purpose? I have a feeling that her more solid figure and less transparency is interpreted as a way of showing just how much data Cortana is holding.
Her transparent figures in the past could show that she had space to think as an Smart AI, and due to her Rampancy, everything is overlapping, given her no room to think, gain a sense of control, hence for more solidified figure.
But that’s just the interpretation that I’ve not long come up with.
