Is anyone else feeling extremely bored with halo infinite? I logged on to multiplayer today and seeing all the issues with the desync and then aim assist not working for controllers on xbox at all while having forced crossplay with pc players is absurd and needs fixed asap.
And to top it off with the barebones modes we have and a super greedy monetization model that just ruins the entire experience. Even a system like cods barracks system would be better than this to unlock armor and everything.
And then they made the games ui built on a very old system that essentially makes the game hard to update.
I hate that this game is already losing tons of players because I really wanted to get back into halo but unfortunately the devs prioritized monetization over everything else in this game.
Yep. I bailed on Infinite after 4 days, all I saw was Halo 5ās launch all over again, but even worse somehow.
halo 5 launched with 20 maps, 7 modes, and the only thing that required a real money purchase at launch was the HCS armor pack. Everything else could be earned from nothing but gameplay.
Honestly I may stop by in a few years to see if Infinite sobered up and got itās life together, but Iām not gonna be expecting much.
4 weeks and yep weekly challgne rewards are meh, playing the same map again and again with NO variation other than weapon changes is meh, people not playing the objective and only doing their challenges makes gameplay incredibly repetitiveā¦I dunno how much longer iāll even play itā¦ thereās only ONE map so far i actually enjoy and itās not played much āLaunch Siteā one flag i find fun because it seems to be the least likely one to come upā¦
Thatās crazy bro. U stopped completely after 4 days. Wow I wish I could Iām getting there though after every log in I keep getting more and more bored and with stalker 2 around the corner if this games not fixed by then I may never get into halo like I want to atm
if i were given something actually WORTH it for the challenges i might care more but āspecial armor coatingsā are the worst reward everā¦ how about a whole ARMOR SET for all that dumb work i have to do jumping games because the challenges are too specificā¦
Yes i was bored with this game within a few days. Pathetically low map count and nothing worth getting in the battle pass, no reason to play and got stale very quick
Definitely bored with it. The heavy SBMM and being forced to play against controller with its built-in aimbot has me barely touching this game. The barebones release and 343 not patching the game in an entire month, even though it has many problems, makes me wonder how this ā10-year planā is supposed to play out.
I think Iāve had about two hours play this week. I expected to be on it all week. But just canāt be bothered.
I played the campaign a bit too, but even that hasnāt hooked me and I got to where the open world starts.
After my few games in the week, I even started up MCC - looked at the Home Screen for a second then just turned off the Xbox and walked away.
I donāt remember what I did for the Halo 5 release. But for 2,3,ODST,Reach and even 4. I had friends round, we had pizza, beers in the latter releases and enjoyed playing on lan and split screen play throughs.
I think this cow has been milked enough. From the words of my nephew, why would I play that old game, my dad played it.
There is nothing new in this game that hasnāt been done before.
Just been doing weekly and then fooling around in campaign afterword.
It does feel like MP is a āchoreā atm and the Campaign is the āfunā
If you want, you can do 6 games daily for 1 Season Pass tier but thatās about all the progress youāre gonna have.
Not to say MP should be reward driven but there really is nothing else to do. BTB is also same 3 maps as well, kinda stale.
MP lasted for maybe 3 days of casual playing, and one of those days was just because my buddy wanted to try it. Havenāt touched it since.
The campaign left me feeling nothing. I had to force myself to beat it over 2 days. I beat every other game in the series in one sitting.
The course correct between 5 and 6 was way too obvious IMO.
I would rather have played a direct sequel to Guardians and I really disliked that game.
Hopefully it ages like wine instead of milk, but having to hope about every aspect of how 343i handles Halo is very disheartening.
I couldnāt disagree more. Infinite is excellent. Iāve been having a blast. Multiplayer is addicting, Campaign is engaging. Infinite is my #1 right now - by a long shot.
Occasionally play ranked but itās so draining, would play BTB but itās ruined. The playlists theyāre adding in wonāt offer any entertainment to my preferences, team doubles is the only thing left to look forward to unless they fix BTB and return it to the classic take.
Most I know returned to MCC within the first week, itās actually alarming how many I see back on there. I can see this ship sinking before May. The campaign bought them like 2 weeks at best and the new playlists theyāre adding in will get old fast.
I went back to MCC after a few rounds of big team battle on Infinite.
Infiniteās gameplay is alright, but it handles so generic future shooter I really expected more from 343i this time around. Just didnāt scratch that Halo itch like MCC does.
Of course gameplay can be tuned, but still MCC has more modes and customs and I can play as an Elite. the list goes on. Infinite still has a very long way to go if it wants to even be close to MCC in quality, or some day surpass it.
Cash shop scandal and ignoring years of player feedback has me skeptical they will pull it off though.
same here. canāt believe the playlist options. only ranked option is MLG style?? no more career stats?? 343iā¦ someone on your team has been infecting the game with awful ideas. Reference previous Halo games to find success.
Iām really hoping the Slayer playlist update will reinvigorate my interest because as of today Iām officially bored of this game. Two of the 4v4 maps are oversized and no fun because of that, the other three are great but THEREāS ONLY THREE. As for the BTB maps, uhh more please with open spaces for vehicles and give us heavies? Until my friends finish campaign and come back to multiplayer I think Iām done for now other than an hour a day doing bot matches for free XP to grind out my battle pass lmao.
I wouldnāt say āboredā but more āexhaustedā when it comes to the multiplayer aspect. I generally find myself logging in to grab my 2 BP Tiers (Using that 2x XP boost when the challenges reset to maximise gains) and then logging out of the MP aspect until my challenges have reset. I can imagine the same will happen when Tier 100 is reached and the only reward being the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE. 343 definitely needs to work on getting some additional progression added to the game.
