Minor spoilers, My issue is that the campaign never addresses the fate of fireteam Osiris, cap laskey, Halsey, blue team, or the resting place of the Infinity and just how damaged it really is. While I really enjoyed the campaign in general, it really disturbes me that it’s been 6 years since Halo 5, and 343 just leaves us hanging on the fates of so many and some well established characters. I do know of the audio logs that details the loss of the Infinity, and laskeys escape, but they still don’t address so many other characters fates, or even the actual fate of the Infinity or laskey, I mean for all we know the Infinty could still be salvageable to bring it back to operational status, or it could be in millions of tiny pieces. It just erks me that 343 left such massive things out of the campaign, when they could have easily included a few cutscenes to tie things off.
Not at all. I see it as an opportunity for them to continue another new story arc. I’m just glad we were able to fish the Chief in from floating around in space and flesh out the Banished for now.
