i keep getting, “loading information from xbox live” and then “You appear to have lost your connection”, in war games lobby, but im connected.
not sure if its my problem or on 343s end

They’ve been updating playlists since launch and it’s never shut down the MP. What are you talking about?
Yes, I am getting the same problem as well, but calm down people they are just updating the matchmaking for the new maps and playlists and it should be all over in an hour or so.

He’s saying that they are uploading the DLC content. This is the first for that.

Nope. Never happened before with any Halo game or any other game. Matchmaking isn’t offline totally. It’s having disruptions.

Lol it seems it is only you and me that understand this sir. Everyone else just uses the DLC as a scapegoat always. The DLC has nothing to do with running of matchmaking.
Adding new playlists doesn’t shut muilti-player down for players randomly.

Watch, give it a few hours.
They are doing it now, it is 5am U.S eastern time. The time that nearly 0 people in the U.S play. (Smallest U.S population I mean)
This is the time that they can do it while having matchmaking problems for the least number of players.

Let me explain this to you. When the DLC is uploaded, it is 2 weeks in advance. It is already on the XBOX LIVE servers. They merely tell a macro to allow the link be displayed at a certain time. Nobody is sitting there with their hand on a button uploading the file waiting patiently.
This has nothing to do with the running of matchmaking. DLC is downloaded off MICROSOFT’S XBOX LIVE server.
Maps = Microsoft server
Multi-player = 343 server
Maps and Multi-player have nothing to do with each other when it comes to blatant server issues.

Yes it does happen with Halo games. Big updates disrupt matchmaking.
