Online working for anyone??
Now, I haven’t been able to play multiplayer in weeks. Wish I would have known the issues with this game before dropping the $$$ on Xbox one specifically for playing mcc online… Anyone know when it will be playable???

I’m in the same boat. I haven’t touched my Xbox One in 2 weeks, and before that in a month. I’m just waiting until they fix Halo, because that’s the only game I care about on Xbox One - my main console is PS4.
It works for me but i have to keep quitting the game to find a match…

I’m not able to play online ATM. I’m stuck on the “searching for players” step. Tried several playlists and nothing.
Working perfectly fine right now for me on the west coast. Just played a game 15 mins ago
It has worked for me. It does take a little time but im able to get into a match.
Im touch and go with it. I will get a match fairly quick at times and other times it will take 20 minutes to find a match and going in and out of games.
I do not think that it is working :|.
I’m getting games without much trouble in the UK. Something that seems to help speed things up is changing the power mode of your console to energy saving in your power & start-up settings. Not sure why it helps but it does for me, could be worth a shot.
I’ve tried to play the Halo Master Chief Collection since Day 1. Tonight was the first time a full party played all night without a member being dropped, the party becoming separated and no one had to reset the game or hit quit game after a failed game attempt.
Definite improvement. 
this is just ridiculous i havnt been able too play any matches for 2 weeks now , I waited a hour and nothing ,every playlist nothing . this is just sad

Two Matchmaking Games in one hour and that’s been about par. No problems in custom games minus the same chatting problems that have been supposedly fixed: NOT. The games we got into are still buggy and laggy. Kicking people. Weapons disappearing. Achievements won’t unlock. THIS IS JUST PLAIN RIDICULOUS. It has been 100 days!!! You have had 100 days to fix this game, a ton of days before that to actually test the game, and you can’t/didn’t do that!!!
Stop spending so much time on Halo 5 because it’s only a direct copy of Destiny and COD combined. It’s garbage. Try fixing some games that were actually good. I don’t see how you don’t put in more time because if this is the result for games that have already been released, what makes you think that anyone would want to buy a new game from 343. This is utter garbage. I have religiously played Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 for years and I cannot do it anymore even though that was what was promised.
I pulled my preorder on Halo 5 and I will not be buying it unless this game is what was promised to me. As far as I’m concerned, you stole $60 from me, because I can’t play even half the game as was advertised. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THIS! I have never had much to complain about with the Halo series but that just takes the cake. You need to give the franchise back to Bungie for free. You won’t make any money off of it. You might have to pay them to take it back after what you’ve done to the good name of the Halo Series. Either that or fire everyone and start with some competent individuals that know how to make a video game and actually like Halo.

I have been able to play online games but I have faced a number of issues including games ending way too early, teams being slightly unbalanced (rage quitters don’t help it) and being kicked when the game starts.

It seems i only get matches if i’m in a party with someone from north america. solo, no games.
I searched a few different games types for like 20 mins each but it seems that actually NO ONE is playing online anymore???
I don’t find any game it has been a month like this…
I’ve been able to have a few good games recently - some were slightly laggy “green bar” connections (obviously P2P connections) and a couple were so lagless that either I had host myself or they were actually using dedicated servers.
Don’t give up! Haven’t had this much fun in a multiplayer game for ages, halo still takes the cake for online shooters that’s for sure.
If only it worked 98% of the time.
