I’m playing on PC, aim assist feels non existent. I’m wondering if it differs from PC to console.
My biggest issue with aiming atm on console is it feels like aim assist it either not on or just way to low. Soooo idk. It legit feels almost just like halo ce with the no aim assist skull on. In a weird way its fun, but makes some weapons nearly unusable, and others feel way to difficult

i’ve found aim assist to be fine on Console.
Turn on bullet magnetism in the settings on PC.

Gor the ar, br, and the auto dmr (forget its name, sorry) they seem relatively pretty spot on. Pistol feels useless atm. Sniper and skewer, ehh im fine with power weapons being difficult

Soooo not gonna lie, i just forced myself to play a match withtu just the pistol. 
you just gotta aim differently compared to the others. Lolz. Its fine now
I also feel like aim assist is non existent on PC, compared to MCC. Very different feel in this, can’t put my finger on it. Might just use MKB if it stays the same

I don’t think that’s a setting on PC
On keyboard and mouse their isn’t aim assist. Bullet magnetism is what effects PC gameplay for halo. And thats non existent here, I feel like I’m playing CSGO with shields right now, not necessarily bad, just harder

But it doesn’t do much
The consensus seems to be that this is the hardest Halo game for aiming, so I think what you are feeling is normal.
In my opinion, aim assist is too low on console right now. I’d much prefer it to return to how it used to be in Halos 1 through 4.
I’ve stopped even picking up the skewer or sniper now.
I imagine a lot of people will disagree though. Apart from that I really like the game.
I definitely hope 343 take another look at aim assist before release.

Its on by default its in the keyboard and mouse settings mouse magnetism checkbox, if anything try the game with it off. Not many PC shooters have aim assist as far as I know, it might be doing more bad than good
It’s probably just the factor of coming from MCC to this game. The aim assist is still there and once you adjust, you can hit shots just like on the other games, but it is turned wayyy down from MCC (mcc 3 and CE at least, unfamiliar with others)
One thing i will say is i can’t hit much with the skewer though lol
I’ve playing on og Xbox one and yeah the aim assist seems super low or almost nonexistent in some cases. Definitely the toughest aim in the series which I wouldn’t have a problem with if it was console only like halo 5 , but PC players are going to dominate if this carries over to the final release.
Aim assist does not seem to exist on console which is bizarre for a console game.

I feel the same way PLEASE keep making more posts about the NONEXISTENT aim assist on console its really bad and Id love it if they changed it.

Honeatly i just kinda learned to fight without it. The hardest weapon to use was the pistol. I just sucked it up and played matches only using it and now i can uae it decentlt well 
and i linda like it over the ar, which is my favorite qeapon to use

Holy crap i juat practiced a few rounds only using the pistol and i kinda prefer it over the auto drm weapon now xD. Still prefer br, buuuut. Lolz.

Told ya it was a beauty. lol
