I know there has been no information on what happens after Achilles, but do you think this is the only thing we’re getting for the Spartan Companies? I for one really hope more Company exclusive stuff is added, something the whole Company has to work together to get.

i sure would not want to join a temp company just to get that armor/helmet… i mean i want to earn it from the company i am in… if you know what i mean…
all i’m saying is… that the levels you need to reach (5) on all kill commendations is ridiculous imo…

There will probably be more armour sets for completing the other types of spartan company commendations, but i dont think anything offical has been said about it.

Well, maybe it wouldn’t be anything like this in the future if we got another set to look forward to. Mainly because the Commendations would be finished by the time the next set were to come out.

So why make this armor the only on you get from commendations… why not lower the standars to levl 1-2 then make more armor for next level you know? make it more fun! … maybe the last armor lvl 5 could be a armor with extra speed for 2-3sec after using thrust or what ever… ( sure overpowerd but wz funny)

Well if they we were to get the armor at lvl2, I feel it would be too easy.
Achilles for Kill commendations. We will likely see rewards like this for other commendations like Assist etc.

I disagree. Heck the kill commendations itself is 50,000 Spartans for level 1. My company only has people I actually play with in it, and for the 10 of us playing almost every day since launch we are sitting at 16,000 kills. We are so screwed.
NO do not lower the requirements. When you see someone wearing Achilles armour and helmet, you know they mean business. It gives value to amour pieces, and I love that. It also gives players a goal and encourages player interaction with spartan companies.

I’m in the same predicament. My company has 8 players. This would not be as much of a problem if there were options for spartan companies in game. I actually play with about 25 different people, but they don’t all want to get on waypoint.
Can someone please explain what this whole spartan company thing is? Ive never heard of it.

Its basically the clan system for Halo 5. You can either join or create a spartan company. 343i has announced that the upcoming update will include a special armor set (Achilles) that is only achievable by having your company complete the company kill commendations.

Its not that im awful but since 343 has taken over ive been so inconsistent. I can have a few awesome games and then some really -Yoink- ones. Even managed to get a perfection on assault other night…next game 3 kills 
i would like to have other people to play the game with but i have a young baby so i only play when he is asleep and i tend to only play assault because they are generally a quicker game.
Is there any companies out there i could join??

hot Rod, we’ve already met the requirements for the armour piece, and we’ll be 5 in all Kill commendations with the next couple of months.

Yeah dude I play with a few people that are in their own Spartan company as well and don’t care about the armor. It’s hard because it kind of puts us in a bind between those we want to play with in our company and just inviting a bunch of people just so you have an easier shot at getting it. I’m actually trying to invite people now just so we can actually achieve the armor. But what sucks is the game only allows 12 people max on a team in warzone and 4 in most arena, so having a ton of people in your company means more than half of them you’ll prolly never play with.
My company is full but only about half play much. I haven’t seen the level 5 kill levels but I’m guessing they are insane. Even getting the armor is going to take a loooong time for us. I don’t think I’ll ever see that helmet. We might hit 5 in some things, but getting it in all kill commendations is not something I’m going to really grind for. Just unrealistic. When warm weather rolls around gaming takes a back seat to real life for me.

By not living up the requirements, i mean that I’ll play a game of breakout and someone may think that I’ll carry the team, while i wont make it into the map due to lag for all the rounds. It’s happened before.
Hope there’s more exclusive stuff.

Im sure something will come up for the other ones at a different time. this is just a trial kind of thing.
