Is a portion of the Halo 5 story missing!?

So, I was playing through Halo 5’s campaign again, and in the cutscene where Locke and Lasky are going to talk with Halsey about the Guardians and Cortana, I came across an odd line from Lasky. Lasky says either “There have been 5 more…” or “there have been 11 more events since Meridian.” It’s probably 5, but that’s still a ridiculous number for so small a time. Maybe 343 will reveal this is the truth, and unveil a purely campaign based update for after the Warzone Firefight update. Wishful thinking, I know, but it’s better than just accepting Halo 5’s storyline as is. What do you think of this crazy theory?

Nothing is missing, and 343i stated that there were no plans for campaign DLC. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

That quote is from like 6 months ago. Now that there was a reddit post confirming dlc after wzff, I think there is a small chance there might be a campaign add on. Especially dove two updates ago they updated dove campaign balancing.

I don’t personally think the campaign dlc will happen, but I don’t think we can completely rule it out until we hear them say it again

Halo never had dlc for campaign and never will. This isn’t a rng or rpg

I’d say the line was meant to provide some sort of background, in the sense that events were happening at a faster rate and were beginning to occur all across the galaxy.

That line is in reference to guardian events. Remember when they get to Genesis and there is a lot of guardians there than Cortana summoned.
