Haven’t really used them in war zone until recently and man they seem weak. They have a high req level but clearly have been way way nerfed nice H4. I would like to see them buffed a bit. Or at least lower the req level since they are pretty tame now.

Some people cant afford or at least gain so many variants of the ONI.

Yeah well all other Mantis variants suck, ONI has a lot more armor, faster ROF and can lock on to ground targets. The other variants either need to get a REQ level decrease or a buff, no reason not to use a lower level REQ like a Scorpion over any Legendary Mantis except ONI.

That is what I am saying. … the mantis is weak. Basically the only useful mantis sounds like the oni level mantis. But why make the others so weak and such a high req level?

And just because the ONI mantis is a monster doesn’t mean the rest are. Because they sure aren’t.

Best point ever… it doesn’t need a buff but I sell it very time because it’s basically worthless. 
Yes. It is far too weak for the amount of REQs you use to summon one. It’s not the monster it was in Halo 4.
They are so buffed when compared to the halo 4 version. I am able to handle many situations like a 3 on one and even a 5 on one with that beast.

It’s so sad…all I need to do is have a teammate keep it distracted, use my req 5 improved sprint from thruster pack plus my initial grenade, occasionally with an overshield or a speed boost to keep me going…at this rate, the enemy uses either 1-2 more REQ to distract than I fo to face him/her…and the melee range is bad too…for me it is just a funny medal waiting to occur.

No. This is completely wrong. Go back to Arena. The ONLY good mantis is the ONI mantis. All other mantises need a buff or a REQ level adjustment.
