Is 60 frames worth losing splitscreen?

Hey guys,
So Halo 5 doesn’t have splitscreen for campaign or multiplayer, and this has been confirmed by Josh Holmes. They say it is to keep the game at 60 frames, but is that worth losing the classic splitscreen experience that has been in every Halo game thus far? Most all of my fondest memories with Halo were splitscreen games and missions. I was looking forward to splitscreen a lot, as there’s nothing I love more than playing splitscreen with friends and family. And now because there is no support I will never be able to play Halo 5 with a majority (all but 2 actually) of the people I play splitscreen with. This was a huge blow to me personally. And I’d love to maybe see it added in, in a title update later on. I’d even prefer if the game would be delayed so that it may be added. What do you guys think? How important is it to you? Is 60 frames worth losing this feature?

I feel like we need to express to 343 (politely of course) that this is a feature that many of us associate with Halo. And that the lack of this feature is actually a much bigger deal to the community than all the things we’ve complained about in the past.

How do you guys feel?

Thanks

Please post in this above thread. And my answer is yes IMO. I don’t care about split screen and 60 fps improves quality of game play.

Sorry, I’ve been off of the forums for a while. I didn’t look at too many threads before I posted this one. Didn’t see it down the list.

My answer it is and isn’t worth it. In a perfect world we should have had both.
