Plenty people in the fanbase seemed really displeased with 343I has done with the franchise, and now they appear to be on a tight edge of succeeding and failing. To be honest, I’m not sure how the future Halo game will turn out. If it doesn’t meet people’s expectations, it could all be over.

People said the same thing after Halo 4. Personally, I have high hopes for Halo 6 because 343 can learn from their mistakes.
tbh i wouldn’t mind another halo 5, the new movement, breakout, warzone, and the req system make this game better then the rest of them.
They’ll probably screw up again. But if they don’t, I’ll be surprised.
Hopefully they would have learnt their mistakes by now and make a better game

People have been saying this stuff since Halo 2 was announced and yet here we all are.
I think Sgt. Johnson’s last words from Halo 3 may have predicted the outcome of Halo:

It’s more of a “Can they set things right? And can they set it right enough, that people will comeback after Halo 6?”

Halo 6 is not going to be the last Halo game. They changed their plan from the Reclaimer Trilogy into the Reclaimer Saga; not limited to three games.
The answer will of course vary from person to person. In my opinion, the answer is no. The series has been ruined by the sprinting and the “enhanced” movement mechanics. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee 343 taking these things out of the franchise anytime soon. Because of that, I will see the next Halo game as yet another screw-up, and I won’t buy it. I have no interest in playing an ability-riddled sprint-fest of a Halo game.

If sales continue to decline, they may not have the chance to finish out an entire saga.
I have high hopes for Halo 6, I feel like we as a community need to be supportive while giving them small criticisms. If we just keep trash talking them and talking about how they’ll fail, they will. We just need to be supportive.
This will probably be the end of the world. I bet Halo 6 will start world war 3 or maybe even the Apocalypse. Dun dun dun
All joking aside. I think it will still be a fun game. I enjoyed 5 and I see they have been trying to listen to people and make things better in the game. So I think they really want to make sure Halo 6 has more of those things they implemented later.

Going by their track record, they’ll more than likely screw something up.
Look, most people here have been with halo for a long time, I know I have, it is the game that introduced me to gaming. Right now 343i has the torch and although they have screwed somethings up (like many say the H5 campaign) but most of us here will return to play even if we are not entirely happy with the outcomes. I think that no matter what happens the vast majority will stay until the bitter end good or bad. I think they will learn, they are trying to interact with the community which is a great thing and a good indication that they are trying to listen. I have high hopes for them and I look forward to seeing the next few games like many of you.

I don’t think they will halo 5 is really good much better then halo 4 I think 343 learned what us halo fans want with halo 5 and halo 6 has a chance to be a true masterpiece I have high hopes for it.

Halo 5 is in NO way better than the original 3 games.

Well, Halo 5 has less armor customization options than the last game, so that was kinda a step back. And the campaign in H4, I think, has a really good campaign. Halo 5, as far as it goes, is somewhat contriversal.
