Remember when Halo 4 didn’t have theater mode for campaign? It was 100% possible, a 16 year old did it in his own room, and 343 couldn’t do it?

Finally about them shoving splitscreen topics into the dark where casuals and non-followers

Unless you follow certain devs at 343 on Twitter (not saying names), or watch videos on Halo at least weekly, you probably won’t know that splitscreen isn’t going to be in Halo 5.
You see, they play their words so that you won’t 100% understand them.
Look at this quote “All MP modes use full screen on dedicated servers, include Coop Campaign, Arena and Warzone.”
It might get you a little big confused or uncertain, and they want you to be.
and they made a post about the campaign’s scale and replayability, and at the way bottom of the post, they apologized about the lack of splitscreen, so unless you read the entire thing (which is unlikely) You probably looked at the pretty pictures, read 2 lines and left, You wouldn’t know a thing about the bottom of the post.
Keep in mind this is NOT a splitscreen topic, splitscreen was just another example that I used for this fourm, so this does not belong in the splitscreen thread.

They have always been this way. Nothing new. Just take everything they say with a chunk of salt until you you see it for yourself.
Really, I’m sure no one at a game company is going “mwahhahhahahhahahhahahha, we shall not tell them about a removed theory so we can push our evil plan!!!” No… They didnt say anything about Elites since… WHO CARES!!! But I’ll admit… The splitscreen thing was shady… But I think they tried to get it in

Yes, his video inspired some of this post, but i’ve been thinking of this since the whole ‘Halo 4 no theater mode in campaign’ thing.
Let’s hope this doesn’t get locked by the bad cops.
i’m not sure why they would. They’re running a business, and announcing things like that are bad for business. Any game dev would do the same thing. Anyways, if there’s any backlash over split screen (because that’s the example you used, not trying to make this a split screen debate.), they can always fall back on “well it’s printed on the bottom of the box”

Lol, i’m sure it wasn’t like that, they just don’t wan’t the negative attention in the air, and for that casuals and fans that aren’t super hardcore won’t know much about any of it.
