Is 343 nervous to show Halo 4?

My guess is thath Halo 4 launch date is less then 10 months away and a beta test is less then 6 months away. Could it be passible that 343 is a little nervous to show Halo 4 and the changes they have made. The fear of the Halo communitty and a massive uprising against all the work and money that has been put into the biggest game of 2012. The fear that Gamers love to complain about everything.

From my perspective, should 343i continue along the track and keep in mid the fundamental aspects of gameplay which kept a franchise running strong for 7 years or so, then there is little need to worry. If anything, I’d imagine they’d be excited.

Frankie said in a podcast that they’re pretty confident about the project, they just want to wait for the right time for the reveal.

Also, Halo 4 is ONE of the biggest games of 2012, not THE biggest. You’ve got Ninja Gaiden 3, Mass Effect 3, Bioshock Infinite, Metro Last Light, Far Cry 3, Sly Cooper Thieves In Time, MGR: Revengance, FFXIII-2, a new CoD(which Treyarch is making, ugh) and Diablo 3(all which I am EXTREMELY exited about, except the new CoD. InfinityWard FTW!) ALL coming out next year. There will be LOTS of competition.

Are there facts that there will be a Halo 4 beta or are you just making false assumptions? =/

No. What will they be afraid to show if they already said they added many new things?

He’s making false assumptions at this point, but who knows? He could be right, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Nahhh. I think they know what they’re doing

There would be no way that A new company with a new Halo IP, a new net code, and a new engine would not have a public beta test. It would be suicide for the game with the amount of glitches and network problems it would have on day one. They also need gamer input on the game itself. Almost all major multi player games have beta test for this reason just like Halo 3 and Halo Reach.

They are probably just holding a new trailer to create more suspense. Maybe leak some stuff to keep to community occupied, maybe a beta down the road, but 343 will want to keep as much hidden as possible.

Except that the game is running on the Blam! engine like every other Halo game before it… But yeah, it is likely that they’ll have a beta at one point.

We haven’t seen any gameplay, other than the trailer. I don’t think 343 is nervous to show Halo 4, I mean, they have been working on this project for a while now. Of course, this will 343’s second Halo game released. They did ‘OK’ with Anniversary, but we’re hoping they will make this next Halo ‘EPIC’ just like Halo 3 to Halo CE.

I don’t think 343i is nervous or afraid to show Halo 4. What i do think is that they are waiting for the perfect time to build Halo 4 up, guy listen back when Halo 4 was first announced we had over a year until the game would be released. We are now 9 months away until next year’s Holiday season. What 343i is doing right now is a good tactic. They wish wait until around they have about 4-6 months left until they show bits and more bits of Halo 4. I do think (and hope) there will be a Halo:4 Beta. What need to do is to keep it slow at first, then build it up faster then give a few good details to keep us interested for the last 4 months while we wait for the game to come out. Let people get bored of BF 3, and MW3, Then smack both of those companies in the proverbial faces.

Hell yeah ,cause the Halo community is the worst ever.BIG BIG expectation ,LIKE mine.
So i hope everyone BELIEVE in them ,cause im not!!!

Nah, they seem really confident in their work.

I bet they’re just going to lambaste us with information and betas and all that good stuff when 2012 actually STARTS. Keep in mind we’re in the post gameageddon doldrums right now, when no new info gets released and very few games do.

Just give it until January. We’ll probably see at least a few screenshots by then.

They should be nervous. This is their foray into the game development environment. Almost all eyes of Halo fans will be on them to see how they compare to Bungie.

I will gladly make a bet with you about the fact that their will not be a Halo 4 beta. I would almost guarantee their will be no “public” beta.

343 Industries nervous about Halo 4?

Its a company that have currently not shown us what they are made of in terms of Game Development who are creating not an original or stand-off game but an official sequel to one of the most popular and expanding video game series in the world we know so far. The slightest mistake or direction could cost them their audiences, business and fans all in one go.

I think I would be liquifying with stress and anxiety if I were in their position…

My thoughts exactly

I doubt that 343 is getting cold feet, I think the reason they aren’t showing trailers is to build suspense and intrigue for Halo 4.

Like many have said already, 343i sure is nervous. This is their debut as a game studio. Halo 4 is going to be their debut game, and I’m pretty sure it’s in their best interest not to fail on this one. All eyes are on them, especially us here in the Waypoint community. I’m sure ALL of us want 343i to succeed as a studio. If they don’t, then they will be receiving a lot of flak not just from us, but from the gaming community as a whole. Everyone will finally have proof that the Halo series is nothing more than just a cash cow for Microsoft. 343i has to prove them wrong on that one.

Now if you’re reading this 343, I don’t mean to make you even MORE nervous, but this is indeed the reality you’re facing at the moment. Just put your hearts and souls into Halo 4 and I’m sure you’ll do just fine.
