Seriously the quit ban is really anoyying, someone shouldn’t be punished for quiting…
Yes they should. By quitting, you ruin the game for others. And besides, it only affects habitual quitters. A legitimate reason every now wont incur one.
Are you kidding OP?
If you quit you should suffer the consequences.
I believe you should be penalized for screwing your team.
you get banned for quitting numerous times in succession. so you deserve it. if your going to quit anyway, why bother playing?
Solution: Don’t Quit.
If there was no quit ban people would be quitting like there’s no tomorrow.

you should be penelized worse cause that is the one thing that makes me madder than anything else. oh i wana play blank map with and AR but everyone else wants to play blank with DMRs so il quit. if i get a game with AR i don’t quit even though im horrible with them, i’l just stick it out and i might have a fun untill some else quits. in my opion its just being childish quitting cause you don’t get exactly what you want. what about in halo 2 you cant even choose might as well not even play and how do you get better if all you want to do is quit all the time. minded that this isn’t targeted to anyone in particular.
if anything you should lose -Yoink- loads of cR or get 3 hour + long ban for multiple quits. Quitting ruins the game for others.
I’ve yet to have a quit ban, let alone see a quit warning but I’ve still quit matches during each playtime.
Must be doing something right since it stopped my friend from ragequitting every match that I was in and making us lose each one, even when we had the lead at the start.

Sometimes when I boot my Xbox at first, it bans me as soon as I come onto Reach. It’s so glitchy. I never even quit a game.
I agree with you and the OP, you shouldn’t be punished by being banned for quitting but it is ruining the game for others which is why a join session in progress is needed for Halo 4 and possibly Halo Reach!
Other alternatives to the quit ban that might work should be posted into the feedback thread.

Seriously. If anything the quit ban should be MORE serious. I get a quitter almost every game of the TU playlist and THAT’S really annoying.
I don’t mind the quit ban to much. but…
For people that play by themselves(me) and constantly get teammates that quit, it is silly to be FORCED to either play 1v4, or quit and get a ban. People quit every freaking game in the TU playlist, and it is getting frustrating.
The quit ban is the stupidest thing in gaming I have ever seen. It does NOT deter people from ragequitting. All it does is make people stay in games when their team has already quit out because they would rather get owned than banned.

This^ if I think I can win I stick around, otherwise I quit. Not fun for me or them to have to wait 15 minutes for the game to be over.
is it just me or does it seems like quitting is so much more prevalent in Reach than it was in H3? I feel like the “casual-ized” manner of the game is due in part to this. My old roommate would put down his controller and talk on his phone for like 5 minutes in the middle of a game. I had never seen him do this back in the H3 days; although back in H3 he was always playing with me and I would yell at him if he just walked away or something. haha, so that’s not really supporting evidence.
The quit ban isn’t enough punishment.
If you quit enough to get banned it should be for at least one hour.
15 minutes, seriously? So you go make a sandwhich, have a snack, and you can come right back and quit some more?
