I keep running into headless players on swat I’ve reported everyone of them, but I thought this exploit was already patched it seems people are still getting away with it has anyone else run into this?
I have run into this a few times. It is unfortunately becoming more prevalent, though, it is mostly a cosmetic mod. People are modding their savegame file so that no armor is unlocked (even the default). This results in their spartan appearing without armor in the game and on waypoint. It does not change any of the hitboxes, it’s just annoying. The most 343i could do is ban these players.
I have not, but Im really surprised this has not been patched yet.
I haven’t seen one for about a week or so but this is what I did the last time I encountered one…
I filed 2 complaints against him (one for cheating and one for tampering). Then every time I got matched up against him I filed another 2 complaints.
I also noticed that he was searching in a party because two of the guys that were always on his team were also on his friends list. So I started filing complaints (for cheating) against them too. As far as I’m concerned, if they are complicit in the matter then they’re cheating just the same.
I also PM’d his gamertag to bs angel and rukizzel and linked his service record in the message.

I know what the headless is, its just I thought it was patched already and that it wouldn’t be happening again. Oh and they have some sort of hit resistance because I would shot him in the head or the headless spot where his head should be and they wont die. I don’t care if the hit boxes are still there they aren’t dying when they should be so I’m guessing there is a mod that makes them have god mode or whatever.
come to think of it, the no hitbox thing was something i noticed (or at least thought I noticed) at the time but maybe it was just lag…
