Is 343 Going to Fix the Forge REQ Weapon Glitch?

For those who don’t know, with the recent Warzone: Firefight update, people were given the option to place REQ weapons and vehicles in Forge. However, some players have found a glitch that edits weapons in a way they weren’t supposed to be used.

For example, using the glitch, you can create a Halo CE Pistol with an Extended Mag or a Chain-gun Turret that shoots Plasma Grenades as if it was a Plasma Caster.

My question is: Does 343i plan to patch this? Because this opens up a lot of possibilities for Custom Games. I’m asking this because they kept the vehicle welding glitch in. So I have no idea if they plan on keeping this in the game too.

I really, really, really hope they keep it in. It provides the sort of fun memorable moments that will give this game the longer lifespan that it needs and deserves.
It will open so many doors for custom games as well.

I don’t think they will. It’s like vehicle welding. I think 343 wants more creativity for Forge, and this just opened up a new door.

I saw a thread earlier that they were going to then decided they were going to keep it.

Now only if they could improve the vehicles welding glitch and remove tidal’s water kill barriers

The kill barriers are something they can’t fix, but the welding they are and the lighting issue making Tidal unplayable is also being worked on.
