Only a month dude. You expect too much. NO game put forge variants in that quick, Reach’s were those stupid pre-made ones like The Cage/Uncaged.
And to be honest, we need forge maps. Doubles wouldn’t work with a lot of these maps, or we could use a little variety. Reach’s Doubles forge maps like Enclosed and Synapse were good.

How do forge maps ruin the game? You actually enjoy playing Haven 4, I mean Halo 4 when all you get to play is the same 2 or 3 maps over and over and over again?

The second forge maps existed in H3, forge variants were in MM.
Reach had forge variants in from day 1.
I don’t understand H4, because MLG was using a forge variant in it’s event pre launch. Put it in MM.
The cage/uncaged was my favorite map in Reach. I hope I will find faveorite Halo 4 map made in Forge as well. I’m bored with default maps. Some of them are good (Abandon), some are ok (Haven, Adrift) some I like less (Solace), some are just too big for 4v4 (Complex), but come on…

It doesn’t even have anything to do with how good the forge maps are. It’s about giving variety.

You have the worst opinions I’ve ever seen. Literally every comment you make is counter-productive for the Halo franchise.
On topic: Forge maps are a necessity. Whether you like it or not, maps like The Cage, Asylum, and Hemorrhage were liked by many people. Most say that these maps aren’t well-designed, aren’t true to their remakes, or whatever, but they added variety.
Halo 4’s map selection has already run dry. It would be one thing if the maps were decent, like playing The Pit, Guardian, and Foundry over and over, but no, we get stuck with Haven and Adrift.
Forge maps are required by Halo to keep the game moving forward. Also, if 343i can figure out a way to reward real Forgers, not just those random maps Bungie picked, then the maps will actually be enjoyable.

…ummm yes we are JUST 1 MONTH from release…they have other things to do…plus it gives people time to master forge and actually make good maps to put in to MM…why rush them when people will just complain when rushed untested bad maps are put in…

Reach had a few pre made forge maps that were on the disc on day 1. It took a few months for them to actually add other forge maps in the multiplayer selection.
As for Halo 3, IIRC forge maps weren’t added to multiplayer until the Heroic Map Pack. I could be completely wrong about that though.

Then why was Bungie able to have forge maps up and running on day one?
MLG was already using a forge map at their event the week before H4 even came out. Why not use that one?

Yes in H3 forge variants weren’t added until the heroic map pack…because there were no forge maps until the heroic map pack. The foundry variant was added to MM on day 1.
I like Forge Maps, I really do… But I’m pretty certain 343 wanted to launch without any Forge maps, and since we’re only a couple weeks from launch, I don’t think it’s time to start adding Forge maps to the mix.
And with the first map pack dropping in Dec, I’m not even sure there will be a good time to inject a forge map into Match Making.
That has nothing to do with “can they/can’t they” They should just realistically not do it. Not yet anyway.
This is my only real issue with Halo 4 at the moment. I have no idea why the default variants of the three forge world maps aren’t included in matchmaking.

There are already maps that were good enough for MLG to use in their event. It should be in MM. There is no excuse.
