I feel like SR130 is a weird number to end at and it really isnt to hard to hit. Most lvl up setups end at 50s or 100s. Im at 130 and my commendations are only 46% done, back at reach I was max with the commendations at 90%. Does anyone feel like there is going to be more lvls?
I honestly hope there is more levels, but as of now, there is only 130 levels.
The main reason we are ending on 130 is because the ‘original’ level cap is SR-50 before enlisting in Specializations, and because there are eight of them, we end up at 130.
I assume there was going to be more than eight Specializations but they were cut in the end.
its lvl 50 for SR. then its 10 levels for each Spec, and theres 8. so 50+80=130
8 specialisations seems an odd place to stop too. I expect at least 2 more.
meh i dont give a -Yoink- about my rank in halo 4.
I kind of doubt you’ve unlocked all the armor, although having the levels extend past 130 would just be nice.
Well, Come January they will be releasing Halo 3 Ranked Matches… Lone Wolves, Team Double, etc… I’m assuming that the 50 levels in that will factor in to your rank making it 180…
I’m just waiting for the skill ranks to come in. I could care less about other types of ranks in this game.
130 is just a weird number to stop at and its not like we havent been level capped before. like Reach was Lt. Colonel Grade 3 and Halo 4 was 70 (with out LE). So Im feelling there mite be. Maybe with DLC map packs.
Yeah I’m SR130 with 52% Commendations. I don’t really care about the level though since I play Halo for fun, so it doesn’t really matter to me

They never stated it would be the ranked playlist from Halo 3. All that was said was the system would rank 1-50 and be on waypoint with the potential of an in game icon if 343 sees fit.
But to the original post, yes additional specializations are planned to be released in the future.

rememebr what Bungie said with Reach:
“It’s impossible to add armor permutations with DLC.”
i don’t know if the same applies to H4, but we have to wait. Btw, don’t forget we still have CSR50.
So, CSR 50+ 2 new specs= 200 SR as max rank.

Adding armor is do-able in the sense that adding player skins is do-able, but I think I remember reading something from 343 saying there isn’t enough memory for more armor or something.
More specs. would be nice. Although I’d like to actually experience the current ones before getting new ones. If it means 343i can make a bit of money from new specs. then they’ll do it.

So far from what ive been seeing from 343, its not about the experience to them its the money. I also dont think they would just let it end with such a lever like SR130. 343 may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but they arent dumb. First they’ll probably release all the armor pre-order bonuses (not FOTUS) then they’ll ad new specs. Which is doable. And since there adding ranked matches maybe we we’ll get a whole new seperate ranking system or incorperate it with our current one. Hopefully giving us some sort of emblem for our rank like in reach. So hopefully we’ll see some new armor soon because its already starting to get kind of old.
150 or 200 looks more official. 130 just seems incomplete.
do you still get spartan points as you rank up past 50? cuz i have 9 remaining and that should JUST cover the specilization perks but i still have weapons/armor abilities i haven’t bought
