Ironic? Splitgate

I WANT to like this game, but I feel like I’m playing the original Resident Evil. I have the sensitivity maxed as well. Until the controls and game selection is fixed, I’ll stick with the superior gameplay of Splitgate, which feels like Halo should to me.

Splitgate feels nostalgic but different.
It’s definitely a good shooter, but it doesn’t quite replace Halo.

I’ll still stick with MCC for my fix, and play Infinite on and off.

I played a lot of split gate in the summer and it is fun, but once you get past the portal gimmick it just feels very hollow. The way they award kills and the number of actual bots in a given match makes it feel cheap. Conversely high skill matches with portal gods is just way too frustrating.

Fun game, though the portal stuff turns me off. Maybe I’ll give it a go again.

As others have said, portals are fun. The gunplay and maps are extremely poor. Too many bots also.

I’d say the best part about it was the 3v3 ranked Takedown playlist. Doubles was fun too on the Takedown maps.

I didn’t hate 4v4 but some of the maps and gametypes were just awful at Masters level. Absolutely pitiful balancing.

If the gunplay and maps were stronger I would probably play it more but I dropped it during the first Halo Infinite flight and will likely never play it again.

Don’t know how it feels more like Halo than this, but I’m glad you’re enjoying playing it. Go have fun, the winter coated maps look cool. Hope Halo does the same.

I do the dailies then jump over to 2v2 3v3 ranked.

Like I said, if the controls get fixed in Halo, I’d gladly jump in, but I cannot play this game.
