So apparently, I got both emails confirming my entry into the flight. After sleeping through the hell that was halo infinite BETA opening on July 29th and waking up to be able to download everything just fine until I open the game to meet this after a short loading screen: “Your account is not authorized to play Halo Infinite.”
As expected, I am majorly confused. I have both emails to confirm my entry, but when I now go over them they are for halo 2 flights even though in detail they are for halo infinite flights? When I click the links on the emails they take me to sites that do not exist.
For a large scale flight, this one is by far the most poorly managed I’ve come across in all my years of beta testing. They don’t seem to be helping people either with who to contact about such issues due to the email saying “they cannot alter flight participants.” So who do we contact if they themselves seem to be refusing to help???
Edit: I managed to get it to work. Had to HARD RESET my console. Still, poorly managed. Anyway, let’s get this over with Spartans.
Dont’ feel bad, I launched earlier this morning and was quit, then relaunched just now to prep for play session and recieved a “Your account is not authorized to play Halo Infinite”…

Hard reset your console if you are on Xbox. I just got mine to work.
Same exact issue. Got the emails for the invite, try to click the links provided to get the key or whatever and I get the page that says
Why don’t I see any Halo flight information here?
Indeed, why don’t I? Seeing a lot of posts in here regarding that so something ain’t right.
In addition to a reboot, I’ve seen a couple comments on reddit that they had to sign out of their xbox account and back in for it to work.
I got the first email telling me I was accepted into the flighting, but I never got the second email with the installation instructions. =\

The instructions were just to come here and look at your private messages for a link. I got both the emails but am missing a message on here with anything, and there’s nothing on my waypoint insider profile which is another place I’ve seen people say to look.

Same here. No message, nothing under my insider profile.
