So I got invited for Microsoft store mcc and I want to know if it is possible to get steam key instead I looked on the invite and my flights I did not get a steam key, could a mod or someone help me with this? And I don’t have the game for Microsoft store and no where did I say I was
P.S OMFG I GOT ON A HALO FLIGHT TY TY TY HALO STAFF
You don’t need to own the game on the microsoft store. When you go to download the halo 2 flight, it will ONLY download the necessary parts for halo 2. Think of it like you’re downloading a beta, but it’s only on the microsoft store.
But basically I think this flight is specifically for the microsoft store and not on steam. So you have to go with the flow for them, not the other way around. Unless you’ve specifically heard from someone else that this flight was also on steam, which would be weird since I would rather be on steam too personally.

WHY ???
Now for perspective I have purchased Halo MCC on Steam As I find the MS store to be to unreliable, I also Have it On MS Store at no Cost to me due to the fact that I have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
I will give a big Thanks to Microsoft Points for the Free Game Pass Ultimate, that is subbed up to August 2022 at no cost to me, or for the last 5 years since MS points launched in Australia.
Now then, Flight one I received the MS Store Version:sob:, For Flight two I received a Steam Key:grin:
and this flight I am back on MS Store
for testing worse luck but it is what it is Enjoy your Flight testing via MS store it works the same as the Steam One no Difference in the game just a bit more hit and miss on the install.
We do not get to pick our preferred platform, if every one got to pick we would all be on Steam and MS Store would receive zero testing something I’m positive would miff Microsoft to no end. And you do not want to bite the hand that gives you truck loads of money to make an old console game work on PC.

Some are saying they got the steam key and in the Email it specified you would receive one or the other.
