Invite to game/party button really?

This is exactly what we need a button to stick people in party chat. Hey remember when halo was a team game and communication was the key to winning. Or remember when you could talk to each other in the lobby? 80% of arena games at least 1 person is in party chat usually in a party by themselves. I put in at least 6 hours of halo a day, that number is very accurate. Now we are promoting people to segregate themselves from the rest of the team. 343 is desperate to kill the halo franchise aren’t they?

We don’t even have a ‘lobby’. It is a list of players, doesn’t show gamertags until the game begins or you take a glance at the player list, and not being able to talk to anyone outside of the game in a lobby is pretty stupid.

I think it’s a helpful addition.

Usually I like to be in a party because if I manage to find someone with a mic they are blasting rap, shouting about random things, are five years old, or have a kinect.

OK since the community and 343 apparently have no inclination of making h5 a cooperative team game, maybe we can match people in h6 according to if they have mics or are in a party etc. I understand (actually I don’t lol) people want to be able to talk to everyone except their team mates, but let’s at least bring the actual competitors (mic users) together. It can’t be that hard to match people according to if they have mics. I guess I would never find a game, sadly out of 7 hours of halo yesterday less than 5 people had mics and were actually communicating about the game. I guess RIP halo with mics, I’ll still be on the battlefield with my mic on making call outs even if you refuse to put your mic in, or even if you just refuse to be a team player and can’t hear me at all. Does the focused search setting already do that? Or are there just that few people that play halo with a mic?
