Invisiblity Glitch????

I know when you go invisible, there are those blue dots that float around(I still think they should be red like in Halo Reach but whatever) on the radar. But sometimes those dots do not show up. When I’m heading over to the other team’s base in ctf there is usually a guy defending it. When he notices me on the radar he pops invisiblity. And I’m suppose to know that he is there because of the blue dots; however, since the dots do not appear I think I’m safe. Then out of nowhere he pops out of invisibility and I die.

Other times (and most of the time) this happens when i’m facing a guy 1v1 and he runs back into cover when his shields are down. I’m weak too but I know I can jump around the corner and easily finish him. So I go for it. But I don’t see him because he is invisible so I don’t have the aim assist which I would of had if he was not invisible. Then I die because I didin’t know he was invisible because the blue dots didn’t show up on the radar.

This happens ALOT to me and my friends. I’ve been asing around on xbox live but I only get one of two answers. One, I have no idea but I know what you are talking about. Or two, it’s a glitch.

All I want to know is, is this a glitch? if so please hurry up and fix it 343. Or is it a perk that you have to unlock??? becaue if it is, its overpowered. I’ll just use it, wait behind a corner, and use the very nooby (I don’t know why they put this gun in the game) boltshot. which is basically a shotgun with a timer.

He’s talking about the blue dots don’t show up on his radar while the other guy is using camo.

See I’m not the only one. And I can tell the difference between crounching and invis. I have a video on my file share called Invisability Glitch to show what I’m talking about

I use Camo quite a bit. Is this something only for the enemy or do they not show up on your radar too.

I have not encountered this for enemies. When they are cloaked I always see blue dots…crouched, walking, or sprinting on my radar. So maybe it doesn’t effect everyone.

Just happened to me as well. Died a couple of times because of it. WTF?

Happens to me all the time. I started using promethean vision because of this. You won’t be able to see them through the wall but they’ll show up plain as day when you walk into the room. The only counter defense I can think of…for now.

Not just do I encounter this alot, I have noticed in games the same player getting the glitch every time. It doesn’t appear to be random to me.

Yeah, I’ve seen happen. It’s annoying since I rely on the rader heavily, and being unaware of any invisiblity, I get assassinated by an invisible dude. Looking at the radar, I would sometime see a single blue dot instead of red, so I should conclude that this cloaking is a glitch.

dude we all know crouching doesn’t make the Cloaks radar jam disappear. This is something else.

Are we sure this isn’t a specialisation thing? I’ve seen it before, but I always thought it was a specialisation thing.

No, there’s no specialization that helps the cloaking, but maybe the wetwork does it?

No. A guy with glitched TC was SR-26.

Also, there’s nothing close to that in Specializations’ perks.

I’ve seen this. Was killed quite a few times by a single sword guy on Solace because of it, as well. It’s irritating.

I have a suspicion it might be related to lag, or reselecting host.

Yeah my mistake, checked it out. No specialisation.

It’s a glitch then, a really bad one at that as well.

Wonder if it’s due to an update or if it’s just recently been discovered.

It’s not new. I saw it a few weeks ago. It just isn’t obvious when it happens unless your killed because of it.

Yep. Happened to me several times. Needs to be fixed. I’d love to see Active Camo gone completely and be made a Personal Ordnance, but I digress.

I assumed this was a purposeful implementation from 343 - I’ve seen it happen for a while.
