How does this go unnoticed? It is in the blue base. You can just crouch behind this triangular, invisible barrier and shoot out of it and the angle makes it near impossible to get hit. It even takes explosive damage.

It is an exploit when it was not put there intentionally and people exploit it to their advantage.
The area is called “Blue Ledge”. I just found this with my buddies as well. Seems we were not the only ones. Bullets don’t penetrate it and leave holes but you can pass right through it.
Need help finding this
It also exists on the Standoff remake on the circular object in the front of the bases where shotgun spawned on Halo 3.

I just described where it was on Standoff’s remake but for entombed it is blue base’s jump to the rocket spawn. Titled blue ledge as someone else pointed out
