The invisibility issue is due to the amount of lighting on forge maps and the number of objects. Reducing the light budget, turning off baked lights and dynamic lights where possible, and reducing the number of objects on the map(s) should resolve the issue.

This doesn’t help me in my case. I have 3 maps that are the same style of map. 2 of them have maxed out blocks and a light map of 160+ with fx of around 100% and have no trouble with people going invisible. The scripts are around 50ish as well. However on the third map people go invisible when I have 1550 blocks, 112 light map, 25% fx and 76 scripts where 25 of them are disabled. All the maps are roughly the same size however they are all on different maps. The map that is bugging out is on Alpine where the others are on Tidal and then Glacier. I wonder if it has to do with the environment and possibly what effects are added onto them such as fog and visual effects and such. I’ve had this issue on another map on Barrens about 6 months ago but didn’t really try and fix it because the map wasn’t all that good for what I was using it for, however, I need to get this map working that is why I am here asking for help. Also as a side note, each time people go invisible it all starts to happen at around the 25 minute mark and while there are 16 players in the game. The only exception to this is one time it glitches out and a lobby of 6 players started going invisible right away.

This is incorrect. Adjust weapon cleanup in the gametype settings and it will fix it. Forcing the weapons to despawn in 1 or 2 seconds oddly fixes the problem. There is another related glitch. On certain maps you can exceed certain category ‘soft budgets’, and when you increase your object count close to the max you’ll get the invis player glitch. The second is harder to combat, and requires knowing what objects you have too many duplicates of, and how to reduce your budget enough to fix the issue without ruining your map design.

Go into your gametype settings and adjust the weapon cleanup and any other cleanup options to 1 or 2 seconds and it should fix the issue. If it’s a map issue, refer to my other comment response on reducing budget.

This actually worked for me! I don’t know why that fixes it but it does. Thank you a bunch.

Great news! I hope you don’t have any other random Forge/Customs issues, but if you do feel free to message me directly for help.

Okay thanks!

Try to have only ONE budget limit in yellow. Keep FX low as too much 180% or higher can brick your map preventing you from editing it. (Might be a mixture of 150%+ lightmap needs testing)

If you load your map in Forge and you start as a Spartan reduce budget immediately your map is on the brink of being bricked.

Object limit I personally find 1550 is usually safe. Depending on the skybox you’re map might be able to handle more (some have a lot of shadows)

Turn lightbake off on as many objects as you can. Turning Decorators off in the ma settings might help too.

Vehicles or weapons with lots of light eat up FX most notably the ONI wasp they gorge on the budget.
