I posted a thread a month or two showing a twitch stream where I found myself completely invisible in a ghost and nobody had an explanation. I noticed some teams have been using the trick recently so I went into a game to figure it out. Turns out all you have to do is get into a ghost and teleport at the same time, it doesn’t even seem to be hard.
Can this be fixed? It wasn’t a feature of OG Halo and I don’t even think it was in MCC until recently.
I’m purposely not using this glitch because I feel like it’s not canon and is cheating unlike things like backpack reloading which was always there but now that I see other teams using it, I might become tempted to start, at least against them.
In this video I perform the glitch multiple times in the first minute or so.
Did some science too. Your body is not there, so you can not be shot. The ghost itself will still transfer damage to you so you aren’t invincible. I assumed your body went to the other teleporter but it doesn’t. We searched everywhere for it but couldn’t find it. Turned on teams to see if the green arrow could clue us in, but it completely vanished like the player is dead or something.
