I installed Halo Wars 2 for the Xbox one on a external hard drive but had it unplugged when I started up the game one time so installed it on the system and now when ever I go onto Skirmish all of the bases and units are missing but the dust effects and lights are still there. My gamertag is Renothefirst and I am from Minnesota, USA.
Edit: Everything in the Campaign is also missing even the ground.

This sounds very much like your install got corrupted and you are missing a large number of files for the game.
Reinstalling the game should hopefully resolve the issue.If it doesn’t let me know and I can continue to investigate.
