It should NOT be a armor ability! Didn’t they learn from reach that people just camp with invis sniper or shotgun. It should be a ordnance if anything. I’m tired of playing a while team with invis camping at the base and team dmring me. make it a ordnance! Everyone shouldn’t be able to get it it’s dumb.

I hate playing a whole team that uses invis and sits back and snipes, shot guns ect.

When I realise there are multiple people using Camo, I simply fall back and wait for them to come to me. If I can stand in long -Yoink- lines to get some chow, I definitely can light up a cig and wait for the enemy to come to me.
And now… I wait… o.O
It the most frustrating ability in the game for me atm. So many people in my ctf and dominion games use it. I could safely say 3/5 people in my games use it. So annoying

If there wasn’t invis I wouldn’t die as many times a game as I do at least 60% of my deaths are because someone is using it.
That’s because it’s smart to use. If they gain the lead, you have no choice but to come to them and they always get the first shot. People are a lot smarter than they were back in the Quake and Unreal Tournament days.
Bungie got active camo right in Halo 2 when you used it as the Arbiter.
- Quick burst.
- No movement penalty.
- 30 second recharge.
- Melee = Deactivation.
- Shoot = Deactivation.
I don’t understand why it can’t just go back to that, to be honest. It seems more balanced than the Reach/Halo 4 set up.
It’s fine. It´s used to also ambush campers and careless Mantis / general vehicle drivers.
Something really isn’t an unfair advantage if you also have that skill… there’s always a rock to their scissors…

Actually, I do have a choice. Why bother being killed over and over again? Sure I might loose the match, but I’m not going to fall into some ambush. If they want to kill me so bad, let em come after me.

If everyone has the option to use it your argument is moot. Although I do personally find it the most annoying AA as well.
Camo is still a Power Up considered by most. We have the Overshield as an Ordinance Drop and Camo as an Armor Ability? Who even decided to let this go? Camo is ridiculous in matchmaking. TAKE IT OUT.

It is unfair when you get team shot across the map and you can’t see anyone because the whole team uses it. Perfect example BTB play a team with everyone using invis and see if you win, 98% of the time you loose cuz you CAN’T see them cuz they hide when there invis runs out and pop out when it’s recharged.
It should be a ordnance plan and simple

It is extremely irritating and yes I also believe it should not be an armor ability. It only serves to slow down gameplay when multiple people are using it. Not to mention that in conjunction with not being un-scoped when shot makes sniping with it extremely OP.

And people didn’t camp with camo plus sniper or shotgun when it was a pickup?

Not really the point.
Playing smart with camo does not mean that multiple people on the same team should be able to do just that without working for and timing (with teamwork) arguably the most powerful pickup on a map.
