invasion was a new,awesome,fun and successful game mode in halo reach 343 should bring it back in a creative and new way in halo 4 by making it 3 teams with Prometheans,covenant and UNSC. 343 please bring back my favorite game mode in reach.
i liked it. i wish it would come back. it was the best part of reach.
I never understood its removal from Halo 4. It was easily the best game mode added to MP since Assault and Territories in Halo 2.
I did like Invasion from reach, but Halo 4’s replacement (dominion) is basically Invasion 2.0, but I would be fine either way.

it is not even close to invasion, it is more of a territories 2.0 . There is no option for Flag or bomb in the dominion custom set up.
I agree though. Invasion was the best thing from reach, and was really the only reason that kept me playing it. Don’t know why it wasn’t brought over, considering it consistently had one of the highest populations of all playlists…
343i didnt want to add elite players, so theres no way they will even think about adding prometheans. If there is invasion, it will be the lame version of red vs blue. Yeah, having mm canon is so great, isnt it?

yeah seems like they took the lazy way out and left out the elites

They have a skin for flood players, maybe they could make a skin for Invasion if they introduce it.
The problem with adding in Invasion is that you need to build maps specially around it.
For Reach, we got two maps for an entire gametype. People are complaining that Halo 4 only has four or five maps for playlists as it is; and we only got a single DLC map for it.
It’s too big a drain on resources;
Invasion was a fun game mode. If I could see a return of that with Prometheans, that would be outstanding.
I highly doubt that though because of 343’s lack of building elite models for players.
Invasion was the best thing in Reach. Too bad Bungie never gave it the update it deserved. I really like Dominion as well so I hope 343 doesn’t abandon it like Invasion was abandoned.

Invasion kicks -Yoink-, and personally, i would be more than fine with red vs blue invasion. i feel like it would be more balanced and an improvement.
Invasion would still be the same with spartan v spartan. It doesn’t need elites or prometheans.
Even if they didnt want to create maps for invasion or have an invasion playlist, they could still have left the community with options to do so themselves.
