I have a question what’s Vanilla mean. also will invasion be affected by the TU changes because i don’t really care for the TU, but invasion could use some new maps.
Vanilla Reach is pre Title Update (TU) settings. Invasion is currently Vanilla, and there is a large thread dedicated to preventing TU settings from entering Invasion located here. Its a good read, I suggest you skim it if you have time.

There are multiple other threads also dedicated to lowering the max local player count to 2 for invasion in order to accommodate community map variants. Hopefully thats what they do with the update.
