Hey everyone I went back and played some Halo Reach the other day and remembered just how fun invasion is. I can’t speak for the rest of the community , but I can speak for myself and many around me, invasion is one of the best and also one of my personal favorite game modes ever to be a part of halo. I know there are not playable elite in Halo 5, but maybe they could add an invasion game mode where it’s red vs blue or something like that. I was just wondering if maybe 343 could add invasion to Halo 5 or Halo 6. Respond down below and tell me what you think about this I want to get it out there.

Yeah I agree, invasion was great with some awesome maps too. I always liked the tiers of loadouts and how the match progressed. If anything a new warzone gamemode with some more concepts from invasion would be great!
Personally, I’d like to see a PvE only type of Invasion mode within Warzone. To get a better idea of what I’m talking about see this playlist breakdown I created a little while back.

Warzone assault has a lot in common with Invasion (And I played quite a bit of invasion) There are two teams one set up to defend, one to attack. There are extremely predictable spawns. The defending team has a decent advantage from the start. There are branching objectives and success in one leads to opening the next one. There are a few things missing like the elites vs Spartans element. The KOTH sections to unlock the first two objectives (Not counting breakpoint) are a bit harder to accomplish as not only do you have to be in the ‘hill’ but you have to remove the enemy from it. And instead of CTF you play destroy the pillar for the third objective.
I really want them to bring back all the forge options from invasion and the effects like where you had to deliver power cores and defend zones and match items to the zone transition like walls disappearing or effects spawning. Then I would like them to add the things from Halo 4 dominion as well like the cool looking monitor screens and auto turrets.
Yeah, I agree with you, Invasion was one of the best playlist that Halo have ever had.
