Call me a noob if you must, but Invasion is by far my favorite game type from Halo Reach. War Games on the UNSC Infinity does not seem like an accommodating platform for Invasion, but I will be heartbroken if Invasion isn’t an option.
Does anyone have any info on Invasion in Halo 4?
Elites aren’t in MP, and it wouldn’t feel the same without them.
But I agree, Invasion is amazing, so I think it should return in some way/shape/form.

I heard in a Frank O’Conner interview at E3 that eventually (and unfortunately) community maps will be added. Maybe Invasion will make a cameo with some new community maps.
If elites are totally absent from MP then maybe there will be a Spartan VS Spartan Invasion-esce game type fueled by battle scenarios objectives
Invasion with Spartans vs Spartans just wouldn’t be the same…

I’ve never really understood the contempt towards community maps.
How about we fix the current Invasion gametype before adding it into another game?
We still have Elites and their weapons/vehicles spawning without a barrier.

I personally don’t like the community maps. They just don’t have the character that legitimate 343/bungie made maps have. Maybe if the Forge in Halo 4 has better customization like color, tint, and textures. Or even better, they could add the option of human, covenant, and forerunner themed objects. Then forgers could put a real theme to their maps, as opposed to the forge in Reach and Halo 3, where the base structures like blocks, walls, and ramps, all look the same with that plain, boring gray color and smooth, metal texture
They’ve hinted toward some sort of game type similar to it.

Agreed, it wouldn’t be the same. But maybe the fact that it wouldn’t be the same could give 343 the opportunity to make it something entirely new, better and more interactive. I see a lot of potential for a Spartan VS Spartan “Invasion” game type with all of the correlation between campaign, MP, and the new Spartan Ops

Hahahahahahaha thanks. you won’t believe how many times I’ve had to change it. Big Ol Paynus, Ten Inch Paynus, Black Paynus. . . the list goes on and on. Although I will admit that after 3 years of being CharizardsFury I miss seeing Charizard in my gamer tag. Theres just something about Charizard that makes me feel like man. A manly man. yes i would love to see some invasion on halo 4 but on the down note there are not going to be any elites so sadface D: to that

I’m not sure if someone has said this already but the Frankie i’m pretty sure did mention in the last bulletin that invasion will not be returning but a gamemode will be replacing to scratch that invasion itch
