Invasion beta was better so revert it?

I don’t know about the rest of you but when I played the halo reach beta invasion I felt as if I was a spartan or elite fighting a war (the feel of the game and immersion is what keeps players playing) this feel was lost in the retail game when we played as red and blue teams this wasn’t a necessary change to the game as its obvious who’s an elite and who’s a spartan. I put it to the reach community that the small change to the playlist be removed and we play as purple elites and green Spartans, the entire idea of invasion is to give the player a glimpse of both sides of the actual human covie war.
So tldnr do you want invasion to be more like the beta than it is currently? And is this possible in a patch? Thanks for reading.

The only reason in the beta we had Green vs Purple was because there was only one round, compared to the retail version which has two rounds.

If we were to keep Green vs Purple, we would be fighting Green Elites & Purple Spartans on the second round.

I fail to see why such a change is needed though, as you said, it is clear who is a Spartan & Elite, Red vs Blue is fine.

That is a good point green elites would be terrible lol
But neverthelessless seeing a spartan in red during what’s supposed to feel like a fight for survival seems counterintuitive, what I mean is a red or blue spartan wouldn’t be as practical from a military standpoint, therefore red and blue teams detract rom the realism.

You shouldn’t compare it to realism, at all, Green vs Purple was just a fun thing in the beta, consider it a Beta exclusive, Red vs Blue is traditional Halo and it will remain like that.

They changed the colors because Olive Green Elites would’ve looked… weird.
