I know there have been a couple of ideas with invasion floating around and I am just throwing out an idea for gameplay on it in my opinion. I think that based on the current state as I read in shadows of reach there are multiple factions and it would be neat to have invasion with up to 4 teams competing against each other for objectives. They could be Banished, Keepers, Servants, and the UNSC AND Swords of Sanghelios alliance. Teams could be 12 to 20 whatever would be the most manageable. To keep things from being overwhelming you could add in AI similar to warzone in halo 5 that helps the team by not only defending objectives but by helping attack as well. You could even add in enemy AI armies competing for objectives such as flood or prometheans. This could created a tug of war that keeps things balanced. It will also allow for map sizes that allows players movement but not to much to where they are bored. You could run loadouts similar to how they were setup in reach taking out the need for micro transactions. With this you could make diverse maps where even weather such as rain or fog could play a part. This would also allow for playable elites which a lot of fans want and even playable brutes. It would give players even more customizable options for each faction and so on. It would also be an interesting idea if you were to make teams slightly smaller to allow for those who want it to somewhat command small AI squads. A player could ping targets for a small AI squad following them and if desired just not use the squad or leave them on permanent defense. A player could even set these setting pre game so they do not have to in the middle of combat. This in turn would allow even more customization for the players AI. This was just an idea of mine that I wanted to throw out I am not sure how well it would do nor am I sure if anyone else has posted this already. I searched but did not find any results and if it is already on the forum I apologize
